This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) regulates the procedures for processing and protecting personal data provided to the "Oriental Star" Charity Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) by website users, partners, donors, and other subjects. The Policy is developed in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine, including the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" and other regulatory acts.
- Personal Data: any information related to an individual that allows for their direct or indirect identification.- Processing of Personal Data: any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, such as collection, storage, use, distribution, transfer, or deletion.- Data Subject: an individual whose personal information is processed by the Foundation.
The Foundation processes personal data in accordance with the following principles:
- Legality: Personal data is processed strictly in compliance with the current legislation of Ukraine.- Transparency: Data subjects are informed about the purpose of data collection, processing, and transfer.- Data Minimization: The collection and processing of personal data are limited to only the necessary data required for achieving specific purposes.- Confidentiality: All data is processed with strict confidentiality and is not transferred to third parties unless required by law or with the consent of the data subject.
The Foundation processes personal data exclusively for the following purposes::- Organizing the provision of humanitarian aid and charitable activities;- Ensuring the fulfillment of obligations to partners, volunteers, and donors;- Cooperation with government authorities and other institutions;- Organizing events aimed at supporting individuals in need, including psychological and medical assistance;- Compliance with the legal requirements of Ukrainian legislation.
The Foundation may process the following categories of personal data:- Full name (first name, last name, patronymic);- Contact information (email address, phone number);- Financial donation details (amounts, payment details, etc.);- Data related to physical or mental health (only with the written consent of the data subject);- Other data voluntarily provided by the data subject to fulfill the Foundation’s objectives.
Personal data is processed using automated systems or manually, with appropriate technical and organizational security measures. Data is stored for the period necessary to achieve the processing purpose, but no longer than required by applicable law.
Data subjects have the right to:
- Receive information about the processing of their personal data;- Request correction, updating, or deletion of their data;- Prohibit the processing of personal data at any time, except in cases provided by law;- File complaints with the authorized state body responsible for personal data protection.
The Foundation may transfer personal data only in the following cases:
- With the explicit consent of the data subject;- To fulfill a contract in which the data subject is a party alongside the Foundation;- Upon request from authorized state bodies, in accordance with the applicable laws of Ukraine.
The Foundation takes all necessary technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or disclosure. All employees with access to personal data are required to maintain confidentiality and comply with legal requirements for data protection.
The Foundation reserves the right to make changes to this Policy at any time. Any modifications take effect upon publication on the Foundation’s official website. Data subjects are encouraged to periodically review updates to this Policy.
